Al Anon and Alateen, Toledo Chapter
Al-Anon is a mutual support group of peers who share their experience in applying the Al-Anon principles to problems related to the effects of a problem drinker in their lives. It is not group therapy and is not led by a counselor or therapist; This support network complements and supports professional treatment.
Alateen is a peer support group for teens who are struggling with the effects of someone else’s problem drinking. Many Alateen groups meet at the same time and location as an Al-Anon group. Alateen meetings are open only to teenagers.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.
Celebrate Recovery offers people the opportunity to participate in a group fellowship where love and hope are combined with seeking God’s purpose for our lives.
Cocaine Anonymous (CA)
Cocaine Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others recover from their addiction.
Heroin Anonymous (HA)
Heroin Anonymous is a non-profit fellowship of men and women who have found a solution to heroin addiction. HA is a fellowship of complete abstinence from all drugs and alcohol. We are recovered heroin addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay sober.
Heroin Hurts…Hope Heals
Heroin Hurts…Hope Heals is a support group for families of addicts. They are not professionals, so they are not able to provide professional advice. They offer support and experiences with loving someone who is an addict.

If you are suffering through the chemical addiction of a family member or a loved one, you are not alone. Nar-Anon is for family members and friends of active or recovering addicts. You will hear others, who are going through similar problems, talk about how they cope and find recovery.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA)
NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs have become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean.
Parents of Addicted Loved Ones
PAL is a faith-based support group open to anyone of any faith or background as our primary goal is to provide hope through education and support for parents dealing with addicted loved ones. Information: (419) 893-2171

Racing for Recovery
Racing for Recovery™ goal is to prevent all forms of substance abuse by promoting a lifestyle of fitness and health for all those affected by addiction.
R House mission is to educate and assist young people with recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Toledo R House will provide service, prevention and rehabilitation through meetings. The primary goal of Toledo R house is to help with recovery from these addictions and to continue to provide a support system to these young people and their families.
